Driving Directions

Well it's September 9th and the wedding is fast approaching. Here are directions to the Villa we received from the people who run it. The original directions were in broken English so I tried to tidy it up.

-At the roundabout at the end of village Montevarchi Take the 2nd exit onto SP 408 always following direction SIENA and CAVRIGILA.
-Continue on for about 7km. You will find a first roundabout with a high metal tower in the middle with a sign for Cavriglia. Here leave the S.P.408 and go in the direction of: CAVRIGLIA and CASTELNUOVO DEI SABBIONI

-You will come to another two roundabouts The first one you will leave the village of Cavriglia on the left. And at the second roundabout continue towards: CASTELNUOVO DEI SABBIONI NERI

-Continue on for another 15km and after a gas station called Total, on the left you will find a road with an indication: LUCETO VAL D PRULLI/ VILLA TERESA

Villa Teresa

Tucked away in the tranquil hills of Chianti, surrounded by olive groves sits Villa Teresa. This is where, on September 19th 2013 at Three o'clock pm, Colby and I will be getting married. A reception with local wines will follow shortly after the ceremony at Villa Teresa with the day capped off by a traditional Italian wedding dinner with music provided by local musicians. Attendees will undoubtedly continue the celebration long into the evening as we enjoy family and friends under the Tuscan moon.

Villa Teresa is walking distance (about 1.3k) to the town of  Cavriglia. At this link here  you will find Trip Advisor information on hotels, bed & breakfasts, farm houses and villas. There is also an official city link here that includes similar information with more of a focus on the city itself.

There are 2 other nearby towns that are about a 15-20 minute drive away. To the north there is San Giovanni Valdarno  San Giovanni Valdarno offical website  and to the south is Montevarchi Montevarchi offical website

Another great website here has a TON of information about Tuscany including: attractions, accommodations, restaurants and much more.
